What You Will Be Doing We are focused on developing first in-class small molecule drugs that modulate mitochondrial biology and function for the treatment of various neuromuscular and neurodegenerative diseases. In this role, you will become a foundational member of the team with the opportunity to play a pivotal role in setting up our new lab space, recruiting a collaborative team of scientists, and advancing novel neuro-related programs to IND while working closely with the CSO, Head of Biology, and VP of Program Strategy and Operations.
What You Need for this Position *REQUIRED*
- PhD + minimum 3 years' experience for Senior Scientist level
- Hands-on experience with cell culture of iPSCs, primary human motoneurons, & high-content screening and analysis

*PREFERRED*
- Proven industry experience in drug discovery
- Solid foundation in molecular biology and biochemical techniques (cloning, qPCR, western blot, etc.)
- Experience in mitochondrial dynamics, mitochondrial assays and pathways
