Who You'll Work With

At Slalom, personal connection meets global scale. Our vision is to enable a world in which everyone loves their work and life. We help organizations of all kinds redefine what's possible, give shape to the future-and get there.

With our fiercely human approach, we deeply understand our customers-and their customers-to deliver practical, end-to-end solutions that drive meaningful impact. Backed by over 700 technology partners, our nearly 12,000 team members in eight countries and 49 offices help people and organizations dream bigger, move faster, and build better tomorrows for all.

What You'll Do

As a senior principal within our accounts and industry team, you'll be equal parts business strategist and technologist, blending a deft touch for solving business challenges with cutting-edge tools, most notably Net Zero Cloud. You will drive our client sustainability projects with flair and foresight. We're looking for a dynamic leader, not just a results-driven individual, to design and lead a spirited team. Together, you'll consult with colleagues and clients, turning the spotlight on environmental, social, and governance impacts through innovative solutions. Think carbon accounting and beyond - waste, water, and compliance are on the horizon. In collaboration with our global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practice and local market ESG champions, alongside Salesforce mavens, you're set to redefine Slalom's market approach, delivering top-tier solutions that blend enterprise platforms, technology, and ESG expertise.

More specifically, you'll be asked to:

  • Spearhead the growth of our NorCal sustainability hub, blending business development, talent magic, and operational savvy to craft a practice that resonates globally.
  • Foster a team environment that's more about collaboration and less about hierarchy, enhancing productivity and happiness along the way.
  • Navigate the sustainability project landscape with grace, managing risks, economics, and ensuring everyone's on board with the solutions proposed.
  • Be the maestro of complex procurements, harmonizing efforts across Slalom's arenas and alliances.
  • Join hands with the Global ESG practice, and be the linchpin in our Salesforce Sustainability Cloud's strategy and success.
  • Advise, guide, and inspire in large, intricate deliveries, starting with the ABCs of carbon accounting.
  • Be the negotiator and problem-solver with customers and third-party pals, always finding the path to 'yes'.
  • Unearth new opportunities to buff up Salesforce's enterprise and technical architecture offerings.
  • Cultivate and deepen ties with local market teams, Salesforce buddies, and all in between, fostering a shared vision and resource synergy.
  • Craft, contribute, and circulate best practices, delivery templates, and thought leadership that's as refreshing as your morning coffee.
As far as location goes, let's make sure you're a hop, skip, and a jump away from one of our three Northern California offices in Redwood City, San Francisco, or Walnut Creek.

What You'll Bring
  • At least 4 years in the consulting limelight, with a track record of ascending responsibility and guiding rising stars.
  • A solid handshake with the Salesforce core (force.com) tech stack and an eye for tech's transformative power.
  • A heart for the environment and ESG matters - it's not just business, it's our future.
  • A history of building bridges with Salesforce's community - from sales to solutions.
  • Bonus points for dancing well with data integration and ESG partners.
  • A deep toolkit of business development strategies, client relationship finesse, and internal collaboration.
  • A maestro in business operations - from contracts to cash flow, you're in tune with the business rhythm.
  • Agile, Scrum, Waterfall - you're the guide in the project delivery wilderness.
  • Communication that captivates, educates, and motivates, tailored for the audience in front of you.
  • Leadership that's more about mentoring and inspiring than directing and overseeing.
  • Willingness to travel up to a breezy 10%.
