YOUR ROLE

Shipwire is a CEVA Logistics company, and award-winning cloud-based SaaS delivery platform providing clients with global commerce through our extensive partner network and over 150 distribution centers in more than 50 countries around the world. As a Senior User Experience Designer, you will help our Product and Engineering teams stay organized, on track and focused on strategic priorities in the world of SaaS and eCommerce. This position will report directly to the Head of Product.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

  • Lead all product design initiatives end to end - owning all phases of ideation, wireframing, mockups/prototypes, and shipping final designs for our Shipwire platform.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and users to define design requirements and decisions.
  • Define our UX research and strategy program to better engage with our users and document feedback/data.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop tools that improve internal processes and operational workflows.
  • Identify design roadmap opportunities through user feedback, market trends, and competitor analysis.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • 5 years of hands-on experience designing enterprise SaaS solutions/applications is required. Additional experience is highly desired.
  • A person who is passionate about user-centered design, design thinking, and the bigger picture of the influence of design across the business, systems, and customers.
  • Ability to tackle complex problems and find elegant solutions through a methodical approach and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and build a compelling story when conveying your ideas to internal stakeholders.
  • Advanced level skills in industry-standard design programs (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Suite, etc).
  • A person who is comfortable with some ambiguity when pushing boundaries of our product and vision.
  • A person who has a portfolio that demonstrates your high level of craftsmanship and can tell a story behind your design decisions with measurable outcomes.

Bonus Points

  • Experience with supply chain/logistics/fulfillment spaces.
  • Understanding of E-Commerce eco-systems
  • Knowledge of retailer programs and marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Target.com etc
