What You Will Be Doing -Interpret specifications, blueprints, submittals, and job orders as needed for project.
-Assemble procurement orders for materials, equipment and tools required at each project commencement.
-Establish and adjust work sequences to meet construction schedule, using knowledge of capacities of equipment and assigned personnel.
-Evaluate Foreman and workers abilities and expertise to ensure the most productive job placement.
-Study schedules and estimate man-hour requirements for completion of job.
-Maintain time records.
-Enforce safety regulations.
-Conduct timely performance appraisals for all assigned workers.
-Follow HR procedures for hiring terminations and disciplinary actions.
-Be willing to learn and apply, Lean principles and processes.
What You Need for this Position -Strong understanding of SMACNA, Florida Building and AHCA codes. Ability to troubleshoot Test and Balance issues.
-Adept working with coordinated shop drawings from BIM as well as remodel projects with only contract drawings.
-Knowledge of labor tracking.
-Completion of apprenticeship program and appropriate journeyman experience preferred.
-OSHA30, CPR/1st Aid, Qualified Rigging and Signaling, Forklift, Fall Protection, Scissor lift.
