RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a remote Site Reliability Engineer.Responsibilities:- The Site Reliability Engineer will design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable applications deployed in Azure
- Develop and maintain automation tools and scripts to streamline deployment and maintenance tasks
- Monitor application performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure applications are deployed and configured correctly and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- The Site Reliability Engineer will continuously evaluate and improve the scalability, reliability, and security of our applications and infrastructure
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or DevOps
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications in Azure cloud environments
- Strong understanding of Azure technologies such as Virtual Machines, Azure SQL Database, Azure Storage, and Azure Networking
- Strong programming skills in languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
