Overview: We are seeking to add an experienced Business Analyst focusing on gathering, documenting, and validating software requirements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business analysis, with a preference for experience in both utility and construction domains. However, candidates with expertise in either field are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving a rigorous and fast-paced process.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis to gather, document, and validate software requirements
  • Engage with personnel to understand their needs and challenges
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives
  • Collaborate with UI/UX professionals to enhance user experience and interface design
  • Take ownership of the software requirements process, ensuring its rigor and efficiency
  • Drive fast-moving processes to meet project timelines and milestones
  • Develop detailed and clear user stories
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to articulate stories that align with project objectives
  • Foster open communication with stakeholders to ensure a thorough understanding of their needs

What You'll Bring:
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in utility or construction environments
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive and own complex processes in a fast-paced environment
  • UI/UX savvy with an understanding of user-centric design principles

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the pay range is $60/hour to $70/hour. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
