JOB SUMMARY

Ensures that IT processes and technical teams work together to provide capabilities supporting the company's business strategy and value chain execution. Provides solution designs related to application development, software management, or data warehousing that adhere to enterprise standards and technologies and assists in the definition of those standards, patterns, practices and processes. Serves as a development leader and evangelist for new technologies, process and governance of IT artifacts and applications.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Analyzes enterprise business context (trends and business strategy) to derive solution architecture to meet business needs
  • Designs and leads implementation of technical solutions for multiple Business areas and multiple applications areas.
  • Collaborates with the Business, Product Owners, IT and OT to ensure alignment around areas of technical responsibility.
  • Develops roadmap, knowledge bases, support documentation and technical platform lifecycles that support business challenges and future needs
  • Stays abreast of innovative technologies and provides periodic assessments of new opportunities and challenges
  • Defines enterprise and solution architecture standards, patterns and practices
  • Develops and implements governance and support structures in advancement of production technology solutions
  • Pursues innovations, solutions, and operational enhancements to provide continuous improvement
  • Tracks and reports on effectiveness of deployed technologies and solutions
  • Provides thought and technical leadership for the development and enhancement of IT processes, business applications and technical platforms
  • Work with vendors for service delivery and evaluating and implementing new technologies
  • Leads and mentors team members, manages team tasks and assignments and ensures code quality of developed artifacts
  • Develops methodologies for the ongoing assessment of solution performance and identification of problem areas
  • Oversees or consults on technical solution architecture implementation and modification activities for new and/or shared infrastructure solutions
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 12 years related experience is required although employees typically have 15 or more years; oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Expertise in end to end implementation of one of the Enterprise Architecture tools (Bizzdesign, LeanIX, Avolution, Sparx systems, etc). Experience with implementation of Mega;s HOPEX platform is a plus
  • Experience in technology rationalization and Application portfolio management using Enterprise Architecture tools and methodologies
  • Expert knowledge of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) within the Microsoft Development Stack, continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated software pipeline.
  • Expert with Frontend, Backend and API Development within Microsoft Development Tools along with SQL Server Database skills and Development within Cloud Environments such as Azure are required.
  • Expert with Agile Methodology (Scrum and Kanban) and associated tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Expert with Microsoft Low-Code/No-Code environments Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Portal and Power Automate) is required.
  • TOGAF or Zachman framework certification is a plus.
  • Disciplined approach to development including quality, testing and documentation
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  • Proven mentoring ability to lead others to enhance their capabilities.
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
  • Occasional travel will be required
Salary Range-

The Salary Range is $110,000-$181,000.
