As our Solution Architect for Awareness to Lead (Marketing), you will be a key leader to own and drive the design of innovative technology solutions that deliver personalized omnichannel content and experiences to engage and inspire customers to act. You will design ways to meet business outcomes and customer needs by determining how to bring together and integrate the right end-to-end solution capabilities that span areas such as brand, audience management, segmentation, content and experience, lead and demand management, media management, marketing performance management.

As a Solution Architect, you will work with business partners, product management, architects, and product teams to recommend solution approaches that consider trade-offs, current and future state capabilities, enterprise standards, platform strategies, and technology trends. You will create architectural diagrams, proofs of concept, design options, and risk and feasibility assessments to guide the teams to forward looking solutions and the best approach to get there.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Well qualified candidates will have 8 years or more experience with the technical design of software-based solutions, communicating with business partners, product management, and developers, developing conceptual design artifacts, applying architectural principles, and understanding marketing business processes and strategy.

Here's what you can expect as a Solution Architect for Marketing:

  • Clarify what the business is trying to accomplish by taking fuzzy concepts and turning them into actionable solution architecture and framework recommendations

  • Drive solution workstreams and decompositions that meet needed future state capabilities

  • Design end-to-end integrated solutions that include the processes, platforms, data, and APIs needed to meet the business and customer outcomes

  • Organize and guide teams on standard approach to system design

  • Understand industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business capabilities.

  • Align with the data and technical architects to create a broad, comprehensive view of architecture and provide holistic approaches to solving business problems.


  • Candidates ideally would have direct or related experience with the following types of solutions:

  • Salesforce Sales Cloud (or similar CRM)

  • Salesforce Pardot (or similar MAP)

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud

  • Customer Data and/or Data Management Platforms (CDP/DMP)

  • Adobe Experience Manager

  • Adobe Launch

  • ReST APIs and domain-driven design
