About this role:

CyberArk is looking for a Public Sector Solution Strategy Architect that will combine technical knowledge with sales skills and is ultimately responsible for working with CyberArk's largest Federal and SLED customers. The Solution Architect will be a part of the Global Solution Strategy team - they will be the primary technical resource for the CyberArk's Identity Sales Overlays in the US and will be involved in the enablement and training of CyberArk's Solutions Engineers.

Additionally, the SA will work in conjunction with the sales team and Product Management as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our solutions. Therefore, this person must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users. The SA must be able to identify all technical issues to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process. Above all, we are looking for someone who can communicate the CyberArk value and be able to design an optimal solution for complex customer infrastructure and identity environments on a global scale.

What you will do:

  • Work alongside Product Management teams to develop roadmap and product strategy
  • Conduct customer proof-of-concepts (POCs) with CyberArk's largest and most strategic Public Sector customers
  • Work with CyberArk's Partners on complex IAM projects
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
  • Document client feature requests and issues with Product and Engineering teams
  • Develop technical knowledge of CyberArk and associated product suites

How you will stand out from the crowd:
  • 8+ years as Solution Engineer / Architect for Identity and Access Management products & solutions
  • Strong experience with Windows/Active Directory administration and operations
  • Subject Matter Expert understanding of security concepts and the development of security roles within organizations that meet functional, technical and regulatory requirements
  • Prior experience with workforce applications, security management, systems management, identity management, and/or policy management solutions preferred especially in the IAM space.
  • Strong presentation skills as well as the ability to build and present high quality product demonstrations to both technical and executive audiences
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at multiple levels to work cross organizationally toward solutions; excellent leadership and consensus building skills
  • Strong Business acumen- be able to grow and build an opportunity alongside the sales team as well as manage technical aspects of an opportunity where a channel has not been able to support
  • Operational experience with LDAP Directories, and LDAP Authentication methods
  • Experience with Cloud Services - AWS, Google, Azure
  • Enterprise application authentication experience a plus (ie, .NET, Java, CLI)
  • Scripting knowledge a plus

The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $180,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee's performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits.
