What you'll do:

• Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities including preparing and reviewing journal entries as well as balance sheet account reconciliations requiring a detailed knowledge of US GAAP.
• Assist in areas such as revenue recognition, cash, expense reporting, AR, and AP
• Help maintain general ledger and sub-ledgers
• Identify any weaknesses in internal controls and assist in developing potential policies/procedures improvements to strengthen these controls
• Interface with external auditors, internal stakeholders, and management.  Assist with internal and external audit requests in a timely manner
• Lead various ad hoc accounting projects
• Other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3+ years of experience working in Finance, Accounting, or a quantitative role with demonstrated ability to work with large sets of data
• Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control frameworks
• Can distill complex issues into digestible format and articulate the findings in a concise manner
• An ability to see the big picture while working in the weeds
• Cultivate strong collaborative working relationships throughout the organization
• Power user of Microsoft Excel 
• Self-motivated and eager to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong work ethic & attention to detail
• CPA certification preferred
• Software as a Service (SaaS) experience preferred
• Experience with NetSuite preferred
• Big-4 experience preferred
