About the Position

Pond is placing Sr Electrical Engineers and Sr I&C Engineers to join our thriving Industrial Group in these following markets; Savannah, Ga , Jacksonville, FL , Greenville, SC and Charlotte, NC . The ideal candidate possesses 8+ years of engineering experience including at least 5 year's experience as a consulting engineer as part of an A&E Design Firm. A preference for experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing or Food & Beverage environments is preferred. The successful candidate would be leading engineering professionals in the execution of the Electrical or I&C designacross a range of multidisciplinary projects.

Knowledge and Experience:

• Experience with consulting engineering including project workflow management and typical I&C design deliverables
• Experience with major I&C technologies including major vendors for those technologies
• Knowledgeable about control system design theory and industry best practices
• Successful Candidates should be familiar with the typical electrical deliverables for a consulting design group in process industries
• Successful Candidates should be familiar with the relevant codes, standards and best practices for design and engineering in process industries.

Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Controls Engineering
• PE Preferred
• 8+ years of experience (5 years in an A/E/C environment)
• Proficient with power engineering software including SKM, Easy Power & ETAP.
• Experience in I&C engineering as a consulting design engineer, with a preference for experience in the Medical Device Manufacturing or Food & Beverage environments
• Proficient with relevant software such as Microsoft Office
• Proficient with Autodesk AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit
• Proficiency with Microsoft Access or other database environments preferred
• Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-task, and self-motivated to produce high quality work.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge and experience. Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Electrical Engineer with a salary range of $115,700.00 - $186,800.00 .
