Primary Objective:

To keep the flow of raw yarn incoming in order to produce a finish product to meet customer expectations in a timely manner

Major Function and Scope:

• Partner with the planning group to meet production expectations through scheduling for facility

• Responsible for ordering yarn to ensure production demands are met

• Verify finished orders for accuracy and assure they are shipped to customers

• Assist with managing inventory levels

• Assist with job assignment changes

• Responsible for month end inventory reconciliation

• Responsible for reports (labor, changeover, and others)

Knowledge, Experience, Competencies and Supervision:

• High school diploma

• 2-4 years of related work experience

Competencies:

• Accurate data entry skills with the ability to multi-task

• Ability to read, write and comprehend basic instructions, short correspondence, and memos

• Must be detail oriented and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Must have excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, AS400, and other programs preferred

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as well as simple conversion factors

• Position requires a high degree of organizational skills

• Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision
