JOB SUMMARY

Delivers and maintains quality, dynamic, scalable and secure code or system configurations ensuring supportable services while working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and a wide set of responsibilities across the team. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into effective and efficient solutions. Interprets standards, policies and procedures to determine best method or technique while maintaining strong testing, troubleshooting and supporting skills.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Develops complex, clean, secure, testable, maintainable, reusable, well-documented code given specific requirements and regular code reviews
  • Leads unit-testing code for robustness including edge cases, usability and general reliability seeking optimum business effectiveness
  • Collaborates with product stake holders on data-driven product development
  • Collaborates Project and Business teams to troubleshoot, repair and fix complex issues or bugs, identifies and suggests value enhancement opportunities and provides operational excellence and continuous product/process improvement
  • Analyzes applications and software, and recommends optimizations for performance, scalability, security, and user experience
  • Explores methods to evaluate, and implement new tools and technologies to maximize development efficiency
  • Ensures adherence to Agile development methodology and DevOps practices
  • Contributes to code development efforts, enterprise development standards, patterns and practices
  • Performs team code reviews
  • Leads interactions with IT or business stakeholders to define and fine-tune requirements; collaborates and works well with other developers, designers, QA, product owners and scrum masters
  • Leads and manages small to medium scale projects to develop and support quality enterprise software
  • Mentors, guidesand adviseslower levelIT Developers
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, IT or a related field and/or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience is required although employees typically have 7-12 years of experience; oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the software development life-cycle (SDLC) within the Microsoft Development Stack, continuous integration, continuous delivery (CI/CD) and automated software pipeline
  • Thorough experience with Frontend, Backend and API Development within Microsoft Development Tools along with SQL Server Database skills and Development within Cloud Environments such as Azure are required
  • Thorough experience with Agile Methodology (Scrum and Kanban) and associated tools such as Azure DevOps
  • Thorough experience with Microsoft Low-Code/No-Code environments Power Platform (PowerApps, Power BI, Power Portal and Power Automate) is preferred
  • Disciplined approach to development including quality, testing and documentation
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds
  • Occasional travel will be required
SALARY RANGE

The salary range for this role is $82,700-$136,500.
