Job Description:

• As a software engineer you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Architecting, designing and developing data modeling and integration solutions that utilize healthcare formats such as HL7, X12, CDA and FHIR to drive applications in cutting edge healthcare spaces including 360 Encompass, CDI, Payer Platform, and more
• Implementing solutions built to improve the quality of clinical documentation, working hand-in-hand with product development and interface architecture teams
• Working hand-in-hand with the customers
• Providing third level support for running production systems
• Participating in activities relating to the improvement of the software development process including analysis, design, development and unit/integration testing

Your Skills and Expertise:

• To set you up for success in this role from day one, Client requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution
• Familiarity with one or more modern programming languages (Java, C#, JavaScript, Go, Python), object-oriented programing concepts, design patterns and automated testing
• Five years of software development experience in a private, public, government or military environment
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communications and presentation skills

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Have worked with enterprise software
• Familiarity with healthcare data modeling and processing in data formats including HL7 v2, CDA, FHIR and X12
• HealthShare knowledge and experience
• Have experience with cloud technologies (AWS, k8s, docker)
