ECS is seeking a Sr. System Administrator to work in our Vandenberg SFB, Lompoc, CA office.

Job Description:
ECS is seeking a full time, highly qualified Sr Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team supporting the Comptroller IT Support program at Vandenberg SFB in Lompoc, California. The Sr Systems Administrator is responsible for administering and managing system hardware and software for an ORACLE relational database server in a MS Windows Server environment. Additionally, the position will support program Information Assurance/Security tasks.

The successful candidate will patch servers on a monthly basis, install Oracle quarterly patches, install and or upgrade Oracle on servers, create and maintain PL/SQL scripts, perform queries against the Oracle database and generate reports, and perform data analysis. The position provides support to users at the 30th Comptroller's Squadron and throughout Vandenberg SFB.

Required Skills:

• US Citizen.
• Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• DoD 8570 certification such as Security+, or ability to achieve certification.
• BS in computer science or similar degree. Four years of IT experience is considered equivalent for BS degree.
• Knowledge and experience with Windows server maintenance including patching and backups.
• Expertise in relational database maintenance, querying, and reporting.
• Expertise in developing and maintaining PL/SQL scripts.
• User application support experience.

Desired Skills:

• Experience installing monthly Microsoft Server patches.
• Experience installing, patching, and upgrading Oracle databases.
• Familiarity with JOCAS and GAFS.
• Familiarity with DoD, Air Force, and DISA regulations.
