What You Will Be Doing -Provide support and technical assistance to end users on a variety of issues
-Present solution designs to various stakeholders for input, buy-in and sign-off
-Liaison between other IT Engineering staff and project leads to work IT security issues on major projects
-Support a medium sized server environment which includes operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, VMware, and Nutanix
-Be involved in managing cloud environments such as AWS and Azure
-Design and operate configuration management systems including Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, Ansible
-Participate in strategic planning sessions with Corporate IT and division IT staff
-Ensure system designs balance functional, service quality, and security compliance requirements
-Design and build new systems to align with company-wide IT initiatives
-Apply security patches and updates in a timely manner
-Document and maintain IT related procedures
-Automate existing processes and develop new automations when appropriate
What You Need for this Position -Requires High School Diploma or equivalent
-Knowledge of Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements or ability and desire to rapidly become CMMC conversant
-Good communication and teamwork skills
-7-9 years of experience supporting servers; specifically with systems running Windows 10, Server 2016+ and Linux systems with a Bachelors degree or a minimum of 5-7 years experience with a Masters degree. 15 years of experience without a degree
-Experience supporting an array of applications on Windows operating systems including, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, email, VPN clients, firewalls, disk encryption, and antivirus software
-High level experience with enterprise technologies including Active Directory, VMWare, Cisco UCS, Netapp, Veeam, Zerto
-Experience with IT security practices and compliance
-Experience troubleshooting and repairing hardware and network problems in virtual and physical environments
-Ability to obtain a security clearance, which includes US citizenship
