Position Title: Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting and Reporting

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid)

What you'll do

This role is responsible for assisting the Manager with:

• Joint venture accounting, month end close and reporting function.
• Account reconciliations and analysis, including cash, investment and equity.
• Preparation of journal entries to support the timely close of the Joint Ventures' monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
• Month end, quarter end and year-end income statement flux preparation and analysis for joint ventures.
• Assemble monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages for joint ventures managed by Digital Realty.
• Ongoing support of internal customer needs, specifically Asset Management, Operations, Sales, FPA, and Legal teams.
• Internal and External audit requests.
• Performing ad hoc projects as required.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with public accounting experience or experience with U.S. publicly listed company.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Exposure to US GAAP accounting, reporting and SOX compliance.
• Knowledge of JV reporting and/or real estate accounting is a plus.
• High degree of comfort and strong desire to work in fast, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written. A quick learner.
• Advanced Excel knowledge is a must as this position will work with complex Excel spreadsheets regularly.
• Deadline driven and detail oriented.
• Ability and desire to acquire new technical skills.
• Ability and desire to acquire new industry knowledge.
• CPA eligibility preferred.
