The SVP, Technology Programs is responsible for the strategic leadership and programmatic direction of multiple Technology programs ensuring they align with the overall corporate strategy, objectives, and goals. The role leads the development and execution of technology programs and standards and collaborates with leadership to identify and prioritize technology investments and solutions. This role reports to the Chief Information Officer and provides leadership and guidance to assigned team fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and drives Technology programs that align with the overall business goals and objectives of the company.
• Drives the enterprise-wide Incident Management and Business Resiliency programs, Technology Issues Management, and other assigned programs to drive solutions and minimize impact of IT disruptions on the business.
• Ensures technology programs and standards are aligned to ensure the security, integrity, and IT systems and data are considered and risk mitigation plans are developed and in place
• Provides strategic guidance to the executive team on emerging technologies and industry trends that could impact the company's business model
• Collaborates with other executives to identify and prioritize IT investments and solutions that drive business growth and profitability
• Evaluates and contributes to the selection of new IT systems, software, and vendors to ensure they meet the company's requirements and standards
• Manages the IT department budget for respective areas and ensures that expenditures are aligned with business priorities and goals
• Provides leadership and guidance to assigned IT staff, including setting performance goals, providing feedback, and coaching, and ensuring that staff have the necessary training and resources to perform their jobs effectively, while fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Represents the company at industry events and conferences to remain current on emerging technologies and industry trends
• Builds and maintains relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory agencies, to ensure the company's technology programs and processes meet their needs and comply with applicable regulations.
• Works with managers to develop and monitor individual and departmental goals and provides effective feedback and guidance on a regular basis; holds managers accountable for meeting these goals
• Leads effective performance management and professional talent development across all respective departments
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar's reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
• Ensure all activities are in accordance with Cenlar's approved risk appetite statement and applicable compliance and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 12+ years of experience in a managerial role and as an IT program, product or service owner or similar role
• Experience in analysis, implementation, and evaluation of IT vendors, and IT systems and their specifications
• Sound understanding of the IT environment as it applies to the particular IT program or product (e.g. industry/market, computer systems, hardware/software, networks, etc.)
• Experience in controlling IT budget
• Must be able to lead an organization that supports applying strategy, critical thinking, and performance metrics to ensure we deliver value to our clients as well as the underlying investors, insurers, and regulators
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication abilities; skilled in client, legal, and executive communication
• Demonstrated ability to create a high performance team that delivers results, strong compliance and control environment experience as well as a passion for winning
• Effective listening, communication, and presentation skills to present complex topics to senior management in a persuasive manner
• Strong leadership skills to inspire outstanding performance through collaboration
• Strong customer service skills to effectively execute the strategic goals and mission of Cenlar, while demonstrating Key Success Factors
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills to come up with a mutually acceptable solutions utilizing available resources with diverse perspectives

• Proven people, strategic and tactical leader
• Resourceful and aggressive ability to research all facets of the industry
• Ability to plan strategically as it relates to business unit responsibilities
• Ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly process of planning to accomplish goals
