ECS is seeking a Talent and Culture Manager to work in our Arlington, VA office.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Talent and Culture Manager to join our team supporting a diverse group of employees and programs. This role will work closely with individual employees to provide onboarding guidance, engagement oversight, back office support, event coordination, etc. The ideal candidate should have exceptionally high emotional intelligence and be detail focused, proactive, and customer service oriented.

Responsibilities:

• Treat employees as internal customers and increase their satisfaction
• Oversee sector-specific onboarding logistics for new employees
• Oversee employee engagement and sentiment tracking; hold individual check in meetings; develop and execute feedback surveys; design and manage initiatives intended to improve our employee's experience
• Develop and execute employee recognition, social, and wellness programs as needed
• Design and support Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
• Design, organize, and run internal social events of varying sizes (both in person and virtual)
• Manage material purchases for the company office; ensure supplies are kept well stocked
• Process internal paperwork that supports various program management functions
• Support employees on a day-to-day basis and answer questions about company policies; assist employees with common corporate requests related to training, timekeeping, IT, etc.
• Organize and oversee individual and team training programs
• Partner with Division Leaders as needed to ensure robust and effective goal setting and monitor and support a performance management approach that encourages regular feedback and career development
• Develop and implementing employee retention programs or strategies
• Conducts exit interviews with employees to determine if corrective action may retain valued staff; discuss findings with senior management
• Monitor and report on staff turnover rates; maintain employee information database
• Understand workforce planning and resource forecasting
• Maintain appropriate level of process, program, and policy knowledge in order to assist team members
• Complete ad-hoc projects, reporting, and tasks

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Talent Management
• Minimum of 5 years' experience with Talent/People Management or related field
• Confidence handling delicate interpersonal conflicts and concerns
• A dedication to Diversity and Inclusion efforts
• Confidence with public speaking
• Working knowledge of the MS Office Suite
• Working knowledge of Taleo recruiting ATS system
• Excellent communication and writing skills,
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Results focused and solutions oriented
• Highly organized and detail oriented

Desired Skills:

• Federal contracting experience
• Basic project management skills including time, risk, and communications management
• Knowledge of Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat
• Familiarity with Confluence and Jira
• Familiarity with Costpoint
