Talent Development & Learning Coordinator

Chedraui USA is searching for an experienced Talent Development & Learning Coordinator for our Store Support Center located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA.

SUMMARY
The primary role of this position will coordinate training activities, administrate education programs, and provide administrative support for the Talent Development & Learning team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES. Other duties may be assigned.

• Coordinates learning programs for Chedraui USA, including preparing and distributing training aids, such as instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms and audio-visual equipment.
• Responsible for the setup and tear-down logistics for training sessions held at the corporate office or at offsite locations. This includes scheduling rooms, room arrangements and room contracts.
• Communicates pertinent information to training program participants.
• Coordinates meals and refreshments for training sessions.
• Coordinates travel and lodging for training program participants.
• Functions as an administrator for the Talent Management System.
• Provides information and assistance around all educational opportunities.
• Executes the tuition reimbursement program.
• Contacts students and assists in enrollment processes with community college partners.
• Responsible for tracking enrollments in the Retail Management Certificate Program.
• Assists with other administration activities in Human Resources when needed.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
AA/AS (or equivalent combination of education and work experience) and two to three years directly related experience is required. Prior experience with standard office machines (e.g. telephones, fax/scanner, copier) is also required. Training environment experience preferred.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

• Varying schedules and overtime may be required to support training sessions
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service and can work independently.

COMPENSATION: The hourly range for this position is $24.00 to $26.00 per hour. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.
