Job Description

  • Responsible for multiplex enzyme assay screening for lysosomal storage disorders using tandem mass spectrometry.
  • Place customized order for standards and internal standards from new vendors and evaluate the results
  • Prepare dry blood spot samples following specific protocols
  • Optimize and carry out the multiplex enzymatic assays
  • Carry out LC-MS/MS analysis
  • Perform data Analysis using Analyst software
  • Evaluate the QC samples and standard curves
  • Timely record all experimental findings in adequate details in eLN
  • Send out summary sheets and present scientific results to the project teams within agreed cycle time
  • Seek advicewhen appropriate
  • Improving theoretical knowledge and practical skills of mass spectrometry
  • Learning the biology and pathophysiology of the related diseases

Qualifications
  • B.S. 4-6 years of related experience or M.S. 2-3 years of related experience
  • Experience independently performing multiplex enzyme assay screening of dried blood spot and CSF fluids for lysosomal storage disorders
  • Experience analyzing data and summarizing the results with minimal supervision
