We are currently seeking a Tax Analyst for our Tax Department in Neenah, WI. In this role, you will:

  • Prepare and review US federal consolidated and separate legal entity tax returns including quarterly estimates, extensions and amended tax return filings using tax systems (ie, CORPTax, Global Integrator).
  • Assist with annual preparation of state and local income and franchise tax returns and respond to state apportionment questions.
  • Prepare reconciliation of recorded tax provision to filed tax returns (i.e. book to return adjustments).
  • Support Tax Accounting COE by conducting monthly and quarterly close activities, including preparation of income tax provision, reconciliation of tax general ledger accounts and identification of potential FIN48 reserves.
  • Provide Tax Accounting COE with tax footnote disclosure information for SEC filings.
  • Support the Tax Defense COE in understanding the reporting mechanics of positions taken within the US federal tax returns and consult on responses to examiner requests for information.
  • Update the Tax Risk Matrix for legislative developments or negotiated examination agreements.
  • Support maintenance and updates of all Federal and state tax fixed asset records and related tax calculations throughout the full reporting/filing life cycle (i.e. annual close, tax return filings and examinations).
  • Support tax systems updates, security and trainings (ie CORPTax, CMI fixed assets system).
  • Understand and comply with SOX regulations, internal controls and tax policies.
  • Establish, improve, and execute tax processes and analyses required to meet the team's objectives.
  • Align course of action and maintain collaborative relationships with key KC business units, stakeholders and other Tax COEs.

The successful candidate will join the Kimberly Clark Tax Accounting Team and report to the Senior Manager, Tax Reporting.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 0+ years of US federal tax experience, including tax accounting, in a large multinational corporation or public accounting firm is required
  • A CPA is preferred
  • A MST and experience with CorpTax is a plus
