RESPONSIBILITIES:

A Kforce client in Southborough, MA is seeking a Tax Manager. This client is a consulting firm with a strong Big 4 client base and offers opportunity for growth in a family-oriented culture. They offer health insurance and 401K, as well as a vacation and time off policy.Responsibilities:
  • Detail review of federal and multistate returns for partnerships, individuals, trusts, corporations, and non-profits. Job will mainly focus on multistate partnership returns for private equity clients
  • Tax Manager will provide timely tax advice to clients
  • Research federal and state tax law to be able to summarize issues for clients and to understand different decisions which must be made in tax compliance
  • Prepare and/or review tax projections for clients
  • Respond to tax notices for clients
  • As a Tax Manager, you will design and preparation of spreadsheets to help analyze data and different tax options for clients
  • Supervise and train staff members on tax compliance and consulting projects
  • Manage client relationships, communications, and billing


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • 3-6 years of work experience in Taxation
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Skills:
  • LLM or Master's in Taxation a plus
  • CPA or CPA candidate a plus
  • CCH Pro FX or Axcess experience a plus


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
