How You'll Make an Impact The Team Coordinator is responsible for two major components in the sample management BioBank department. (1) They serve as the point of contact regarding service requests that have already been negotiated, service delivery, and problem solving. (2) They also provide direct, hands-on guidance and technical leadership of all processing personnel assigned to them.

Additionally the Team Coordinator is responsible for seeking opportunities to improve processes, throughput, and new services and make these known to appropriate people or lead the changes themselves.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure adherence to all company policies, project level requirements and SOPs.
  • Participate in the training of BioBank staff in operational processes such as registration, labeling and storage of samples.
  • Provide input based on observation and experience regarding the performance and work habits of Biobank Techs.
  • Assist BioBank supervisor with the writing and presenting of performance reviews.
  • Direct the daily activities of BioBank staff and assign work to achieve the most effectiveness.
  • Assist in resolving technical or operational problems to ensure an accurate and timely resolution.

What You Will Bring
  • Bachelor's Degree + 2 years demonstrated proficiency in a Biobank position.
  • OR Associate Degree + 4 years demonstrated proficiency in a Biobank position.
  • OR HS Diploma + 6 years demonstrated proficiency in a Biobank position.
  • OR two-years' experience as a full-time BioBank Technician at Azenta and shown proficiency in all essential functions of a BioBank Technician
