Title:  Technical Recruiter

Reports to:  Director of Recruitment

Location: Remote - Anywhere in the USA

Job Summary

The full-cycle Technical Recruiter will work closely with the Director of Recruitment, recruitment team, and FranklinCovey leaders to identify, attract, evaluate, and close quality candidates. This position will focus primarily on product, design, data, and engineering roles and will be responsible for generating a continuous lead flow of talent to fill both replacement and growth positions.

Role Context

Historically FC primarily offered in-person, one-off training. Over the last five years, FC has made substantial investments and has had significant success, transitioning the business to an online, subscription product (AAP). Earlier this year FranklinCovey acquired Strive, an edtech startup whose leadership development platform was used by leading tech cos like Slack, Airbnb, Pinterest and Intuit. Under the Strive's team direction and leadership, FC is doubling down on their technology/product-centric approach and looking to build out a large product and engineering team.

Why We Think This is a Great Opportunity

  • Build a Function from Scratch – This is FranklinCovey's first Technical Recruiter! You will work with the Director of Recruitment and VP of Product closely to design and implement hiring strategies, norms, processes and more. This is a great match for an entrepreneurial-minded Technical Recruiter.
  • Have an Impact – FranklinCovey positively impacts the lives of millions of learners and tens of millions of their direct reports every year. By building out the product and engineering team you will help ensure that those learners become the best versions of themselves and build meaning, belonging and opportunity for their teams.
  • Startup Speed, Established Company Security – FranklinCovey's product & tech org is relatively nascent, so you'll be able to move quickly to hire great candidates. Unlike a startup, FC is an established (and profitable) publicly traded company, so you won't worry about the next funding round falling through and a lack of job security.
