At New Holland Agriculture, the Territory Business Manager (TBM) is passionate about big iron and helping dealers retail to build their businesses by selling what is recognized as the most complete product offering in the industry. The successful TBM is a highly motivated and self-driven sales professional with excellent communication skills, financial acumen, and ability to quickly engage with dealers and build relationships. The TBM thrives in fast-paced, ever-changing environments and when faced with increasingly complex challenges, readily provides well supported solutions. The ideal location for this candidate will be located in Kentucky.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the relationship between New Holland and independent dealers to plan order forecasting and retail, ensure adequate levels of inventory, coordinate promotion of New Holland brand within the assigned territory.
  • Secure wholesales orders by leveraging industry and competitive sales information to make recommendations for strategies to dealer principals and store managers.
  • Management of the retail sales activities of Dealers within the territory of responsibility, including the setting of Dealer sales forecasts and objectives to drive retail results.
  • Spending an appropriate amount of time with customers in support of Dealer activities to maximize share potential and provide necessary direct market feedback.
  • In coordination with Network (Dealer) Development, identify underperforming market segments and provide dealers and company management with specific action plans to improve sales.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to educate dealers, extended staff and customers on product offering through blended learning including, but not limited to, virtual learning, on-site demonstrations, etc


Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business Management, Finance or similar OR associate degree with 3+ years of work experience OR High School Diploma with 5+ years of work experience in a management capacity
  • 3+ years of sales experience selling direct customer goods through wholesale dealer channel, with demonstrated financial acumen, sales forecasting, and adherence to sales strategy and consistent delivery to stated objectives. Minimum 50% Travel required.

The preferred candidate will have:
  • Candidate must reside in territory or be willing to relocate.
  • Must possess valid driver's license and pass a background check that includes driving record.

  • Startup experience or startup mentality. Lead cross-functionally and get things done in a scrappy and hands-on way (positive disruption).
  • Change management, customer advocacy, and enablement is at the forefront of your strategy and delivery.
  • Self-starter with a problem-solver mindset and proven track record performing well in a fast-paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines and changing priorities; ability to be flexible and resilient.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and ability to develop customer and market insights.
  • Proven experience effectively delivering impactful projects in fast-moving environment with ability to influence at all levels and work effectively across functions and geographies
