Community Health Center, Inc. Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY

The Training Group Team Lead position is responsible for managing the coordination of the training schedules, training projects of the CHC Training Group. The Team Lead will partner with the Training Manager, HR, IT, Operational and Clinical leadership to coordinate delivery of training based on organizational needs. In addition the Training Team Lead must maintain knowledge of all related Operational, Clinical and Business Training initiatives and be knowledgeable of standard Operational and Clinical workflows that pertain to the EHR and Business systems, in order to incorporate these standards into the courses trained. The Training Team Lead works with the Training Manager to organize training projects and team tasks needed to complete deliverables. The Training Team Lead will be Training Lead or co-Lead on multiple projects, partnering with the Training Manager to ensure group members have needed tools and information to complete group and individual training goals; as well as, proactively work to identify and remove project completion barriers.

The Training Team Lead will assist the Training Manager with internal group and project communications and act as a delegate, when needed, to manage project communications, group members PTO requests/approvals, Performance Appraisals and/or organizational tasks. The Training Team Lead will provide feedback/assessments on group performance, and provide solutions to increase the group's overall performance.

The Training Team Lead is also responsible for delivering virtual classroom and one-on-one training to all CHC and MWHS employee roles on business systems; and also, responsible for delivering Virtual Clinical Technical Training to all clinical roles. The Training Team Lead must have expert skill level in the creation and maintenance of curriculum and training materials; as well as, identify future training needs and partner with Training Manager to create course curriculum.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the creation Monthly Operational and Clinical Training Schedules, maintaining standard formats and identifying attendees
  • Partner with Training Manager to create/distribute month onboarding/training templates for new hires.
  • Organize Training Project goals, tasks, timelines in an efficient, user friendly format(s)
  • Ensure Group members have access to tools and support to complete training project goals and tasks
  • Partner with Training Manager to create efficient and pertinent team and department communications for training initiatives
  • Lead and/or co-Lead for Training Projects, representing the Training Group in CHC and/or MWHS training initiatives, system upgrades and implementations.
  • When delegated, maintain project communications and representative in specified meetings, training requests, and daily Training Manager tasks
  • Partner with Training Manager to develop/maintain/manage training curriculum and materials
  • Administratively Support HealthStream LMS
  • Deliver instructor-led training of all clinical and student roles on eClinicalWorks, Centricity and Open Dental
    • Provide shadow training/support of medical, dental, and BH providers
    • Provide virtual and one-on-one support/training of Centricity, ECW and Open Dental for all clinical roles
  • Deliver the instructor-led New Hire Technical Training course
  • Partner with Training Manger to improve/update new hire orientation facilitation/training
  • Deliver additional courses, utilizing various delivery methods based on organizational needs under the direction of the Training Manager
  • Maintain and increase professional skills sets by utilizing trainer resources such as EHR Conferences, Training Magazine Network, and TTT conferences/webinars

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Skills and Education
  • Minimum Associates Degree
  • Instructor-led Classroom Training Experience
  • 3+ years of EHR Training Experience or 5+ years of EHR Work-Related Experience
  • 2+ years of EHR and Clinical Analytics (Workflow Mapping) Experience
  • 2+ years of Team Lead and/or Project Leadership Experience
  • Excellent Organizational and Effective, Efficient, Professional Communication Skills

Preferred Skills
  • 2+ years of EHR Training Implementation Experience
  • 5+ years of EHR Training experience
  • 2+ years of eClinicalWorks training experience

Required Licenses/Certifications
  • N/A

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Lift up to 15lbs(computer equipment)
  • Travel to Trainer and EHR Conferences
