Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an accounting or finance student in the Spokane Valley area. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year and full-time during the summer. This internship includes flexible hours, professional work experience, and diverse accounting experience. We invite you to apply!

As a Treasury Intern, a typical day might include the following:

• Offer support in the areas of treasury management, cash forecasting, bank relationships, credit facilities, foreign currency, employee credit cards, international trade letters of credit and investments.
  
• Perform analyses, data aggregation and assist in compiling financial presentations.
  
• Assist with preparation of projections, product cost analyses, and other ad hoc analyses.
  
• Assist with research and planning according to generally accepted accounting principles and/or current tax laws.
  
• Assist with special projects.
  

This job might be for you if:

• You are a current student pursing a degree at an accredited institution in Accounting or Finance.
  
• You have at least 2 years of relative coursework completed.
  
• You are motivated and self-directed.
  
• You have strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
  
• You are able to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
  
• You are able to work cooperatively in a team environment.

Spokane Valley, WA-This position is located in Spokane Valley, WA, where you are minutes from a vast array of outdoor activities to enjoy.
