What you'll do...

Job Summary:

You will have the opportunity to support multi-million-dollar programs and initiatives as Walmart looks towards preparing itself for the future and establishing itself as a sustainable and regenerative company. The primary day to day activities will involve data analysis, dashboard development, and system support for the Electrical Infrastructure and Energy Resilience team. The team manages power restoration, distributed generation, and electrical infrastructure resilience programs. You will be expected to take initiative and meet with vendors, utility companies, and internal stakeholders to manage requirements, resolve issues, present analytical findings, develop system and process improvements, and cultivate relationships needed to collaborate on larger projects.

Power Data - kw, kwh, voltage, utility billing, and equipment telemetry

Dashboard Development: Quickbase, Tableau, Power BI, Dataiku

Process Automation: API's, Alteryx, Tableau Prep, Power Automate

Job Description:

Identifies customer and operational needs and develops relevant data driven solutions to reflect reporting and functional requirements.

Reviews and prioritizes system improvement and data analytical requests from the business, incorporating new concepts and determining business impact of potential solutions.

Develops business intelligence solutions, while implementing user centered design principals, ensuring solution testing and user acceptance.

Coordinates with stakeholders and peers to build consistent and accurate strategies for developing and communicating functional performance metrics.

Identifies trends and key insights, translating results into business actions, and presenting recommendations to key stakeholders.

Coordinates, completes, and oversees job-related activities and assignments by developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.

Communicates data and analytics project goals and objectives to leadership, building accountability for and measuring progress in achieving results, while identifying and addressing improvement opportunities.

Demonstrates adaptability, promoting and participating in continuous learning, networking, mentor programs, etc.

Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years' experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years' experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area.
