Manager, Project Management, Event Operations
Location: Bentonville, AR

they can be themselves? The Walmart Recruiting Events Manager will create events that excite

You will engage thousands of job candidates every year. Your goal will be to capture their

team members who can help them pursue a career with us. Reporting to the Senior Manager II of
Recruitment Marketing and Events, you'll work with several partners to research, plan, execute,
measure, and report on virtual and on-site events.
You'll make an impact by:
• Championing diversity and inclusion, understanding, respecting, and valuing diversity and
promoting inclusion of all people in our recruiting efforts, including unique styles,
experiences, identities, ideas, and opinions.
• Developing essential relationships with partners, organizers, and vendors. Assess your
partners' priorities and evaluate event options to help us meet their goals; provide advice on
implementing best practices.
• Creating an imaginative event calendar, set specific goals, and develop an event mix to
generate diverse, qualified leads across all levels and responsibilities needed.
• Planning team member meetings and communications, including working with multiple
teams, establishing event-specific indicators, communicating project scopes, options and
timelines, participating in the selection and training of attendees and speakers, and delivering
progress and post-event reports.
• Curating Walmart's employer brand image. Lead booth design at virtual and live events with
our vendors; customize meaningful, demographic-specific content, SWAG, and experiences
to promote engagement.
• Leading development of creative marketing and social media advertising with our
Recruitment Marketing and vendor team, observing brand guidelines and driving engagement
and action.
• Completing engaging virtual and on-site events, creating and delivering thoughtful
messaging and experiences that address candidate's needs at each stage of their engagement.
Organize travel logistics, negotiate vendor contracts and hold them accountable for
deliverables, ensure event set-up, develop staffing plans and training, troubleshoot scenarios
that could affect the integrity of the events, and accomplish adhoc tasks to complete events.
• Creating and ensuring adherence to event budgets, managing budget documentation,
invoices, and reimbursements.
• Collecting and using data to improve our events and event mix, using appropriate data
collection techniques (surveys, focus groups, ATS tracking) to recognize improvement
opportunities.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...
