Vendor Management Process Implementation Manager

Job Description:

The Vendor Management Process Implementation Manager will lead the implementation of a robust vendor management framework for strategic vendors within both direct and indirect categories (i.e., vehicle OEMs, upfitters, vehicle transport, repair & maintenance, rental vehicles, license/title/registration, remarketing) across the Wheels organization. This includes establishing a framework for vendor management, creating, and managing category functional execution plans to achieve future state operating models, and developing capabilities to measure and monitor vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Vendor Management

  • Establish vendor management framework within each outsource services category.
  • Partner with functional leaders across the organization to assess category current state, gap analysis and future state operating models.
  • Lead cross functional initiatives to achieve and sustain category future state operating model.
  • Evaluate category characteristics to determine the appropriate service level agreement KPIs to measure vendor performance.
  • Develop and implement tools and technology to collect, analyze, and visualize vendor performance KPIs for each category that fosters a continuous improvement environment.
  • Establish requirements and cadence for vendor performance reviews based on the needs of the business.
  • Build optimized processes for vendor identification, selection, onboarding, and change management.
  • Support the negotiation of contracts in collaboration with Procurement and Operations
  • Identify and develop solutions to mitigate risk for both vendor and Wheels.
Process Improvement
  • Identify opportunities to improve internal systems and processes.
  • Identify opportunities with vendors to streamline our processes and provide operational improvement.
  • Lead / support continuous improvement exercises, such as Kaizen events with Wheels stakeholders and suppliers to streamline and/or improve processes and systems.
  • Provide expertise to IT in development and changes to all related applications and reporting.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses to drive business intelligent decisions.
Communication
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders in building initiatives to leverage best performing vendors.
  • Interact and present to external/internal stakeholders demonstrating the value of our vendor management practices.
  • Provide support to other departments serving as an escalation point for issues or opportunities.

Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree with 8-10 years related Business experience.• Minimum 5-7 years procurement and/or vendor management experience• Business Process Outsourcing experience (preferred)• 3-5 years project management experience (preferred)• Supply chain certification (preferred)• Relationship management experience• Results oriented to drive financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Lean Six Sigma or other quality improvement experience (preferred)

• Strong analytical skills and working with a variety of software data programs (preferred).

Job Specifications:This position is in Alpharetta, GA.
