VCA Care Specialty and Emergency Animal Hospital is seeking a full-time Client Services Representative (CSR) for our growing hospital. We are looking for someone with a multi-talented skillset that includes accuracy of repeatable actions i.e. register management as well as high emotional intelligence as you will be the first point of contact for our clients. As a 24/7 emergency animal hospital, VCA Care is not like your typical general practice. While we assist our specialty departments with client communications for scheduling, the ER functions solely on a walk-in basis. The ideal candidate will love variety and be adaptable to an ever-changing case load. Our team thrives in a fast-paced, compassionate, patient-care focused environment. We are made up of devoted team players who work in a collaborative environment and are invested in the success of the entire team.

We are offering a competitive wage (DOE), shift differential, 2-weeks paid vacation, continuing education benefits, and professional development. Relocation assistance available to the right candidate. Required qualification: Must be willing to work Swing Shift (until midnight) and Weekends.

As a member of the VCA Care team, you will support other Technicians and our Doctors by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients. Your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent-by delivering an outstanding client experience-so we can provide exceptional care to every patient. As the face of VCA, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for the practice as we build and maintain each customer's trust and confidence in our abilities. The CSR is the pivot around which the hospital operates and is responsible for:

* Customer service functions, including: greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
* Scheduling and confirming appointments.
* Placing outbound calls for follow-ups and reaching out to prospective clients.
* Presenting and explaining fees, including processing payments.
* Recommending, selecting, and obtaining products and services, including prescriptions.
* Answering questions regarding products and services

* Managing medical records, charts, reports and correspondence.
* Hospital maintenance (including removal of animal waste) and ensuring that facility is neat and clean at all times-both inside and outside.
