Job Description

As a global firm, GHD continues to expand our market presence across North America. GHD is seeking a skilled Wage Funding Advisor to join our team. As a Wage Funding Advisor, you will be responsible for identifying, researching, and securing wage funding opportunities to support our projects and initiatives. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing strategies to maximize funding opportunities and ensure compliance with wage requirements. The ideal candidate will have excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with funding agencies and internal stakeholders.

The successful candidate can be located near most GHD offices in North America.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and research wage funding opportunities relevant to GHD's projects and initiatives.
• Monitor wage databases, funding websites, and other sources to stay updated on new funding opportunities.
• Assess the eligibility and suitability of wage programs and develop strategies to align them with GHD's goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with project teams and subject matter experts to gather information and develop compelling wage proposals.
• Prepare and submit wage applications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to wage guidelines and deadlines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for wage applications.
• Develop and maintain relationships with funding agencies, government officials, and other key stakeholders.
• Monitor and track the progress of wage applications, including reporting requirements and compliance with wage terms.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams in managing wage-funded projects, including budgeting and reporting.
• Stay updated on changes in wage funding regulations and policies and ensure compliance with all applicable requirements.
• Conduct post-award evaluations to assess the effectiveness and impact of wage-funded projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage wage funding opportunities and support Talent Acquisition efforts.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of wage funding processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent research and analytical skills to identify relevant funding opportunities and assess their suitability.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop compelling wage proposals and reports.
• Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in using wage databases, online resources, and other tools for wage research and application.
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with funding agencies, stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing and reviewing wage applications and reports.
• Knowledge of the environmental, engineering, or consulting industry is desirable.
