Better Future Farms is a leading greenhouse company in the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) industry. We specialize in sustainable and high-quality agricultural practices to provide fresh, locally-grown products year-round. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. The Warehouse Associate will assist with receiving, storing, organizing, and distributing products and supplies. You will work closely with our Production Manager and General Manager to maintain inventory accuracy and fulfill customer orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Receive shipments and check their contents to ensure accuracy
  • Accurately label and store products and supplies in the appropriate location within the warehouse
  • Keep track of inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages
  • Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary documentation
  • Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently
  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed

Requirements

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution center preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in inventory management
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with inventory management systems
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, as needed
  • Ability to operate pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and forklifts
  • Load tractor trailers with finished products
  • Flexibility to work in different shifts as required
