Our client is seeking a Web Developer in Hillsborough, NC.

Role Description

The Web Developers primary responsibilities are developing our web sites in a "Best Practice" and efficient format under the guidance of a Sr. Developer. The Web Developer is expected to be an active member of the team, identifying potential risk areas and sources of technical debt within the code, and occasionally participate in the correction of these identified areas.
• Uses Team Foundation Server to create and maintain a safe coding environment.
• Meets all project deadlines and quality objectives set by Internet Development Manager.
• Reports project status to project manager and documents and logs all changes to system software.
• Writes test cases and unit tests derived from a business requirement/user stories.
• Continually enhances development skills using any training methods available.
• Participates in mentorship of new team members.
• Assists in the development of processes and practices to ensure the quality of our code base.

Skills & Requirements

• A working knowledge of ASP.Net, ADO.Net, VB.Net, C#.Net, MVC, Razor, .Net framework, SQL Server 2008/2010, HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
• An AS degree and/or 2+ years of experience developing websites.
• Self-motivated person with high drive for complete customer satisfaction.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong analytical, presentation and reporting skills.
• Strong attention to details and highly organized.
• Ability to work comfortably on a large code base.
• Demonstrable understanding of OOP programming concepts and related design patterns.
