Description:
The Judge Group has a new opportunity for a Windows System Administrator. As a Windows Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining our Windows-based systems and servers. Your responsibilities include ensuring system stability, security compliance, and efficient operations. Here are the details:
Responsibilities:
• System Management:
• Collaborate with peer IT teams (network, cyber, and platforms) to maintain normal operational status across systems management platforms.
• Facilitate issue resolution through enterprise monitoring and system auditing.
• Work with Lab security teams to ensure compliance and best practices related to identity and authentication systems.
• Document operational and configuration details for audit readiness.
• Triage technical issues promptly, documenting knowledge for future reference.
• Deploy fixlets using appropriate scripting or configuration tools.
• Oversee system upgrades and new feature deployments, adhering to ITIL best practices.
• Provide status updates and operational metrics to the Leadership team.
• IT Service Management (ITSM):
• Participate in ITSM best practices, including change, release, and incident management.
• Incident Escalation:
• Support 3rd-tier incident escalations and ticket assignments.
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong understanding of security compliance and operational processes.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Scripting languages: Perl, Python, Shell Scripting, PowerShell.
• Experience with MS Active Directory and LDAP.
• Familiarity with SCCM and Active Directory.
• Proven ability to protect mission-critical data through robust backup practices.
• System administration expertise.
• Knowledge of technologies such as DNS, DHCP, Proxy, and Load Balancing.
• Windows patch management.
• Familiarity with the Windows Server platform.
• Project planning and execution skills.
• Effective presentation, verbal, and written communication abilities.
• Strong customer service and team communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Experience with BigFix IEM.
Familiarity with Linux OS, Mac OS, and Apple iOS platfor
